Hi Georgene,
I have been away at a Youth Conference.
Yes I think that we are all still recovering from an 'anything goes' revolution that took pace in the 70's.
I am at the moment writing up assessment that is meant to be used with the students as goal setting and self evelauation.
In other words they help me write the criteria sheets and then assess themselves against their own bench marks as they go along.
Student teacher partnerships are good!
