Do you think Art Assessment can be fair and serves a worthwhile purpose. Or do you think that Art Appreciation is relative and therefore Art should not be assessed at all?
Never Fair - I think Art is personal and should not be assessed. Don't care - I don't know why you would want to assess it! Fair - when expected outcomes are made clear from the start. Drawing As A Natural Language
Many people need to draw everyday for their job. Architects, Designers, Landscape Artists, Police Identikit Artists and the like. How confident are you about expressing yourself visually?
Very confident! I have always been good at drawing I am scared of Art and Drawing in particular I can draw if I have to and others know what I am saying I can draw enough to get me up and running in Photoshop I draw daily and no longer think about it. Did You DCI This Summer?
The summer Drum Corps season has come to a close. Did you find a way to experience a DCI performance this summer? If not, will you watch the televised performance on ESPN2 this September?
I made it to at least one DCI performance & I loved it! I made it to a performance but I don't see what the big deal is. I didn't make it to a performance but will watch the ESPN2 show. I just don't think I would enjoy any of it. DCI isn't my thing. Results of Did You DCI This Summer? poll

These days even ESPN has joined in promoting and televising the Summer Music Games put on by Drum Corps International each year. This so called "marching band on steroids," genre of music has gained quite a following. Are you one of the converts?

I've been to a DCI performance but it didn't really appeal to me I've never been to a performance but want to go to one. It's marching band... I hated it in high school and still do. In my profession I am used to seeing students young and old that profess to be able to play an instrument but don't read music. What do you think about this?
